My new favorite gift to give at baby showers... diaper cakes!

The best thing about these gifts, is that everything can be used. All items are hot glued to the ribbon so that the diapers can be used along with the shoes and baby items. Toys are tied to ribbon or diaper tier so that the hot glue doesn't ruin the toy for baby to play with. The diapers I used for the cakes are for infants, so the cake is a bit smaller than it would be if I used toddler sized diapers. I personally used Swaddlers infant diapers (or a package of 92 diapers that the mother registered for - which is usually Swaddlers) and Johnson & Johnson baby shampoos, etc. Hot glue becomes your best friend in this project!
