Lacy needs a home!

A message/plea from our neighbor, Sarah Whitfield, who rescued a beautiful pitbull in our neighborhood:

Lacy is an extremely sweet, approx. 2-3 year old female pit bull we are trying to re-home. She has lived her entire life secluded to a filthy backyard with a family who has been unable to care for her. After having her second litter of puppies, the family decided to stop feeding Lacy and the pups. My boyfriend, Jeff, and I stepped in to help Lacy and the puppies. We found all the puppies great homes with a rescue here in Atlanta.

We have taken Lacy to a vet who is helping us with the costs, Dr. Levinson (Arkle Vet Clinic) ,and Lacy has received her first set of shots and all her vaccinations. She does not have heartworms or any life-threatening diseases. We have her on Interceptor and Advantage currently. On March 11, she will be spayed and will stay with me until she recovers. Lacy loves people even though it’s evident she has been abused in the past. Lacy must be the only pet in the household, because she is very aggressive towards other animals due to the fact that this entire world is new to her and she’s lived on a chain most of her life. If I didn’t have my two felines and golden retriever I would take Lacy without hesitation. She is a wonderful dog who has lived a life of sadness, abuse and neglect that no animal should ever have to endure. She deserves a second chance at life!

If you are interested in providing Lacy a special home, please call me at 404-851-1790. A thorough vet /reference check is required.
